Occasioned by the 2017 conference of the College Art Association: Join James Panero, Executive Editor and art critic of The New Criterion, on a tour of the alternative spaces of Bushwick, Brooklyn. For nearly a decade James has covered the rise and risk of Bushwick as a creative haven in his monthly column, Gallery Chronicle. He has organized the Bushwick Documentation Project with the photographer Meryl Meisler and mounted the exhibition “Bushwick Chronicle” during Bushwick Open Studios. He is also a contributing writer to “Making History Bushwick,” the catalogue raisonné of the neighborhood published by Arts in Bushwick in 2016. More at jamespanero.com
